Catalyst testing facility

Catalysts are among the most durable automobile components. So it’s not surprising that with catalyst activity of around 120,000 miles they often far outlive the lifecycle of a vehicle.

The breakthrough in emissions treatment came with the development of the first three-way catalyst in 1979/80. Today, exhaust emissions that are harmful to the environment and human health are significantly reduced using modern catalyst technology.
