Fuel cells – Energy source of the future
In times of scarce energy resources modern fuel cells can help a lot to maintain security of supply. Fuel cells are small chemical plants that transform hydrogen and air into electrical energy and heat.
They can be used wherever electrical energy is required, e.g., in laptops, backup systems or residential applications. Fuel cells play an important part in securing long-term energy supplies and helping to protect the environment and the global climate.
Production
Membrane electrode assemblies will be produced in the pilot production. These components are the heart of the fuel cell.
